    Mine, KZ750B.

nice, I've a Enfield Bullet 500. Tis a 03, but should really be considered a classic:

    1) it's not running
    2) it's rusty
    3) I have the intention of 'restoring' it

Nice Slingshot, I wrote one of them off in 1992, courtesy of a skip lorry with a dopey driver.

    Mines a GPZ600R.

Most of them ended up trashed or turned into street fighters, a mate of mine wrote off three of them including a concours flat panel H. I was brought up on Brit bikes so take this one handy.

I've an old Black & Red AR80 out in the shed - my Dad owned it since new. He also has a Green & Black KH125A, and the remains of an S3 400. The AR80 is barely broken in

I bought one of them brand new in 1987, big end bearing went after 500 miles:)

Carole Nash will cover classic insurance on anything over 15 years.

Well it _is_ a Royal Enfield.

It'll start, just the compression is shot!

ha ha - "just" the compression...

    :(

Hope you get it working. Looking myself for a non-**** exhaust, perhaps an original.

I know of a mint condition one of those for €1600, is that a good price ?

Am I right in thinking its an 88' model you have there ?

Mine would be fine if I can find an original exhaust and rebuild the centre stand, put muscles on me using it. One of the earliest emissions compliant exhausts replaced with the cheapest thing imaginable by some previous owner, and the centre stand taken off so it would fit.
