When out I love Coors lite, then move onto Vodka and diet white. If having a drink at home instead of going out, a glass of white wine.

on a night out I'd usually drink Paulaner or Heineken. Also go for Guinness, Bulmers, Carlsburg, Erdinger, Budvar, Beamish, Jameson, JD & coke or Vodka and coke depending on my mood.

If at home usually some red wine, can of beamish or bottle of paulaner

I used to drink whiskey and alot of it, maybe with a dash of lime and some ice if i was feeling girly;) but its true what they say about it making you want to fight, after a particular night on whiskey i was ready to beat up two huge polish guys outside vivo...and did! now i've mellowed out, and stick to gallons of any vodka i can get, with a spit of an energy drink to keep my eyes open...

    Water

Guinness if I'm only going to have a few slow pints, and Paulaner/Erdinger if it's a more sustained drinking session.

The black stuff will destroy you and your digestive system after a certain number of pints.

Don't drink, can't. Need my wits about me at all times.
Work-wise I can get a call anytime day or night and I have to go
...so no drinkies for this bum.

Come holidays however, I lash into the Budwiser or Carlsberg. :D

Beer? **Blue looks in frig*** Guinness, Murphy's, Becks Dark, Dos Equis, Lapin Kulta, Kölsch, and Swan. We just had a beer party a couple days ago, and the price of admission was a six-pack of non-domestic beer (We hate US American mass processed swill like Bud, Coors, or Millers). Not thrilled about US American micro-brews... Anchor Steam or Steelhead gives me a headache if I have a couple pints.

Wine? Varies by year, harvest, and winery. Contrary to the above about USA beers, northern and central California produces grand wines, competitive in quality with France, but not as expensive (except for cheap Gallo, which is crap). I'd rather stretch a quality bottle a glass-at-a-time over a week, than guzzle down a lot of cheap thunder chicken and wake up hung over. I like a grand California Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, or red Zinfandel that I can buy at discounted prices from Trader Joe's specialty markets, but if it's a Riesling then a German import, or a sake or plumb wine then Japanese.

Hard? Bushmills or Jameson are grand.

Mixed? Tequila Sunrise made with Tezon Reposado (and other goodies mixed in), or an Adios Madre made with vodka, gin, white rum, Blue Curacao liqueur, sweet and sour mix and 7-Up soda (If you make the last drink just right, it will put you on your tush before you know you're drinking alcohol!).

Hate beer with a passion. At home I'd drink white wine and sometimes out and about as well. Order Bulmers or Smirnoff Ice. I'm loving the pear Bulmers though- gorgeous!

    I'd drink pretty much anything,

I love wine, beer, ales and stouts. Polished off a few cans of Beamish stout last night.

    corona, white wine, G&T

cant drink red wine, find it too heavy and it makes my skin go blotchy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 893 ✭✭✭joey54

Depends on the situation. When out for just a few drinks and a chat with mates It would be something like a bottle of Coronna or the likes.

If I'm out on a mad one anything goes, vodaka, whiskey, you name it! Haven't had one of them in a while............... Maybe next weekend!

It's the greatest drink on the planet, except maybe a nice beer.

    Lime > lemon though.

Dutch Gold if im low on funds ,

and If I'm not Coors Lite ,

Best of both worlds but if i had to choose between them definatly Coors ice cold nothing beats it , Dutch can be magical though
