Need Help - Hotels in Tokyo/Kyoto/Japan

    Hi thanks for reading this first of all, I'm looking to take my fiance to Japan next year so I'm going to start looking and booking hotels next month.

    I just don't know where to look for a good hotel online? Would anyone have any recommendations on hotels that would be nice but affordable that you have been too.
    Preferably in Tokyo but maybe 3 days in Kyoto, I'm looking to go for 14 days in May 2010.

    Or just point me to some good websites for booking this, I have been looking through Hotels.com and using trip advisor but always wary at doing something like this

    You shouldn't be wary about using these sites for both hotel reviews and booking. They are both owned by the same company and are trustworthy.
