The brother was spinning round the North East this evening and spotted a "savage looking left hand drive green vintage sports car". He said it had large wheels and sat high off the ground, the indicators were the flashing brake lights you'd associate with US cars and had a circular symbol on the middle of the boot with twin exausts.

    Any ideas?

Google'd it and 'fraid not. Much bigger higher car he says, pointy boot and had black plastic grills at the rear windows.

Thanks, keep the suggestions coming :)

The red indicator would almost instantly make it a US car. Maybe the Mach1 Mustang was shot in the right direction, but it could have been a 65/66, they have plastic grills as side windows, big round fuel filler cap and twin exhausts...

Have a look at this one:

Well that's not it. He says it was much boxier than those. Going to have to get him to register an account.
