Worries 4 the future

is it just me or is anyone fed up? im going to be made redundant in a few months. My degree - i got a pass degree so i don't know enough to get a job in it. There is feck all jobs on it. I have debts is anyone pissed off with the recession???? maybe college is the choice!!!!!!

You can get a job not related to your degree like many people have had to do. Don't be picky.

It's taboo to tell people how fed up you are these days since everybody is pi'ssed off. You're only allowed to complain when the majority are happy.

And seriously, this might look sarcastic but it isn't.

Well look at it this way,you have a job,and it will be a few months before you are made redundant.
So use those months to look for something else.

Don't be fed up, there are worse countries. If you think Ireland is bad, you need to wake up.

We came out of the last recession, and we'll emerge stronger than ever out of this one. I think the recession has done us some good. People need a good dose of realism from time to time.

I'm fed up cos I have a secure job and am going to have to carry you deadbeats for a while.

One of the guys I work with was let go one friday and had to work a weeks notice.. He had 4 interviews lined up in the week and was offered 2 jobs..
Very positive person and is not fazed by anything..

A smile on your face, a positive outlook and willing to work [regardless of your degree and qualifications] and you will get work..

The country was going down the crapper since 2006, 25% of GDP from construction and 25% of the total workforce were in construction. The housing bubble burst long before the credit markets dried up, we're in a recession purely down to FF's cosy reliance on building houses. You cant lose nearly 25% of GDP and workforce without a HUGE recession.
We were in recession long before other countries, and we will be long after the rest have recovered.

I have no qualifactions im a dgeree holder but its a useless degree I find my self ina position where Im retraining and looking for a neash which suits my abilitys pushs me and can bring me some where... you can give up but it wont help you that much....
