NTL box on wall

    I've just moved into a new apartment and there's an NTL box installed on the wall already. I bought a flex of aerial and went to try to connect it up to the TV to see if it works, but the TV (there's one for FM, too) connection on the box is a screw connection and the aerial flex doesn't fit in. Do I need to buy some sort of connector for it to accept the aerial? I have tried the TV with normal bunny-ears but the signal is rubbish and it only picks up 1 channel (RTE2)! So just thought i'd try this out to see if it'd work.

    I've attached a picture of the wall point so you can see what I mean.

    The screw or F-connectors are standard nowadays, the slot type splitters are terribly inadequate.

    You need a cable like so 1155734406PLG156.jpg


    Can be got in power city, maplins ect.
