Can I set up freesat cables myself?

I have a freesat enabled LCD TV. I am waiting on a Sky HD installation (this could take weeks) but also intend to set up the freesat using one of the free spaces on the LNB outside. I was going to ask the Sky engineer to do it. But could I do it myself? What kind of cable would I need and where can it be got? And finally, what about the connection to the LNB and the TV. How difficult is it to connect the heads?
    Thanks.

    Hi
    It's very easy,
get the screw on sat connecters you will need 2, I call them rf connecters others may call them something else,
get satellite cable not coax a little more than you need is always a good idea,
use string to measure if your not sure about lenth then lay the string out flat and measure it,
get cable ties if you can attach it to another cable or hammer in wall clips 6-8mm will do a neat job for you,
ask for waterproof tape or if in a sat shop they will have a rubber cover to protect the connector on the lnb,
turn off your sky box at the mains, connect one end of the sat cable to the lnb on the arm of the satellite dish feed the cable down walls through roof or whatever your attaching it to, connect other end of sat cable to back of sky box where it says lnb turn back on the box and away you go.
any sat shop will have everything you need and most electrical wholesalers will as well, dont be scared it's not rocket science,
think of the satifaction you will get when you can tell sky where to go (not to mention the money you will save)
    best of luck regards D

    hi again
sorry I forgot to say if its a single lnb on your dish, change it for a quad lnb this will allow you to run 4 feeds if you so wish and its only cents in the difference of a twin lnb, it's easy to change it will either have a small nut and bolt or 2 plastic push in clips at the end of the metal lnb arm of the dish.
    Good luck D
