    Are there any recommended top soil providers in the balbriggan area ?
    I need a couple of tons

    Jones' Garden Centre (Ph. 8401781) will deliver topsoil to Balbriggan.

    quick question,

    i contacted them

    1-3 tons costs 130 euro and 25 euro to deliver to balbriggan....

    how does one work out how much topsoil they need!!!

    A ton of topsoil is roughly about 0.6 to 0.7 m3.

    Tully Nurseries also deliver in balbriggan they sell topsoil by cubic metre and it seems to work out cheaper, check their website.

    If you have a trailer, you could check adverts.ie as occasionally people offer free top soil if you can collect it yourself. Might not be a suitable location but might be worth a look.
