what's my weight?

    I notice there can be a 2/3/4/5 lb difference between my weight just after getting up and having no food taken in the morning and my weight late at night after food/water just before I go to bed. Should I just average the two to get my"real" weight or am I just being silly.

    you go by the weight you are when you first get up

    Your morning weight is no less acurate than your evening weight and visa versa. Everybody's weight fluxuates like you described. If you want to monitor your weight over time just weigh youself at the same time of the day and before or after you eat and before or after you exert yourself. Remember though it's more accurate to describe someone as having excess fat than excess weight.

    i disagree, your evening weight can be less accurate because not everyone eats the same amount of food throughout the day, everyday

    But if they do not eat as much one day then the next morning they will be lighter too. I can vary a lot, depending on hydration due to boozing. I can be 2-3lb less after a good piss, I have a shockingly big bladder.

    I always use post pee morning weight. It never fluctuates by more than 1KG from one day to the next.
