As the title i cracked the rear plastic window, insurance will pay under windscreen cover .The hood itself is in good condition so just need window replacing.

I am in Kinnegad but would travel to Dublin.

Does anybody know of places that do this work?

I've never used Derek Nolan myself, but the name keeps popping up here and people always seem to be saying good things.

    Ask on http://www.mx5ireland.com/forum

It's almost an FAQ by now. Some people replace the plastic window with glass...

Are those not the ones that you can unzip as they have a plain old zipper on the inside that allows you to pull the zipper and out comes the window?

Maybe try a local scrap yard, they might have a mx5 with a similar plastic window that you can zip in to replace your current one...
