please help. maybe i should get a professional in. im in monaghan /louth area , carrickmacross is the town...

anyways, i have a sky box in bedroom 1,
i have a cable running from it to bedroom 2, thru the sky eye that was working perfectly till today.
yesterday i bought a 3 pronged splitter and installed sky tv to bedroom 3. then today i bought a second sky eye and connected it in bedroom 3. i now have sky tv in all 3 bedrooms but none of my ske eyes are working at all now. not even when i plug out the new eye and just leave the original operational. the led light is coming on but the sky remote is not responding with the sky eye in bedroom 2. .please help

You most likely need to switch the power off and on again in the installer meny to get one eye working. Fitting the spliiter was a bad idea to be brutally honest as you should have used a sky compatible amp like an f140 or similar.

    Hope this helps

Try a sky compatible amp first I reckon, then if you are still having problems get somebody in.

You can get them cheap enough.

A quick web browse shows a F140 splitter for 21Stg (prob Exc Vat and postage)

    Check around.

one of these will do the job.

try plugging out the connection to the second TV altogether to see if it works, if so you will need to decouple the second TV, basically a small voltage from the TVs rf connector knocks out cheap magic eyes, seen this a few times.

    see link here for details,

also if you get one of these to split the signal usually solves the problem too, by keeping both signal totally seperate.
