    There's only dictionaries for Irish/English. Most are good, and give phrases as well as words.

    I have heard of people working on a translation program - but I wouldn't hold my breath for it... Irish is a complicated enough language, and there's not exactly a huge community of Irish Programmers!

    i wouldnt hold my breath either
    ceart, the program, is crap and thats only a rough grammar and spell checker

    however, teach na ngealt - daltaí na gaeilge and irishgaelictranslator can be great for tanslations aswel as the numerous online dictionaries
