    Hi,
So a quick flying visit to Budapest this week. I haven't been here since 1980's.
On the way out of the airport there is a nice looking 'museum ' with a
    Tu 154 , tu 134 , il 18 , yak 40 and a Li2

The Li2 , I last saw when I was here in 1985 , it was ' preserved ' then half way down a hill ( nowhere near the airport ), we were allowed to climb in it .

For those of you who don't know the li2 is the Russian build DC3. The story goes that the yanks gave the plans to the Russians during ww2. But the Russians read them upsidedown .... so the door is on the ' wrong ' side of the aircraft ie the ' right ' if you are looking from the back . On DC3's they are on the left ( in common with most commercial aircraft ).

Of course that may be an urban myth , but it makes a good story.
