    Hi,

Just wondering is any station showing the match on Sun? Have checked Setanta and TG4 but can't see anything.... I can't imagine RTE showing it, no Connaught teams get any recognition until they get to the quarter finals!!

Not on RTE anyway. There is a thread on TV coverage here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055552525

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it. The first televised Championship game will be Fermanagh v Down a week after the Championship has started. I know the result of the New York v Mayo game is surely a Mayo win but it would be nice to show the first game of the Championship and it would be a novelty - it being in NY. It would also help promote the games overseas.

Last year for example, Longford v Westmeath was chosen as the tv opener, a game that was hardly crucial to the destination of Sam - so why not New York v Mayo.

Nice one, where'd you hear that? Next to impossible to find out anything about the match.

I thought we'd need a tribunal to get any info on the match.
