    Hey Ladies,

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster :)

I'm also a total wax virgin, as a suprise for my bf I'm going to get it all off. He's into that porn star look :D
Just wondering has anyone got any recommendations on where I should go for this? I'm based in Dublin, I've very sensitive skin too so not really sure where would be best.
Any ladies with experience your help would be very much appreciated,
    Thanks in advance :)

Waxperts! Ellen is amazing, and she doesn't double dip the wax :o

I've been to most of the places in town and she's the only one i've been 100% happy with every time.

    Just a tip for you, since you mentioned your skin is sensitive ;

Aloe Vera gel after the wax - it'll have a cooling effect on your skin and keep it hydrated.

I've also heard taking a paracetamol tablet beforehand can help ease the pain?

    Good luck
    :)

    +1

lil'bluestar as you mentioned having sensitive skin you might want to consider getting a patch test done at least 24 hours before your first wax.

also plan to leave it till the day after the waxing to show off the results to your boyf, it takes that long for the redness to vanish for me - and, trust me, it's NOT a good look for seduction.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the advice :D

I wouldn't have even thought about the patch test and I've had some nasty skin reactions to things I thought would be fairly harmless in the past so I'll definitely try that.
Aloe vera sounds like it would be very useful, I've only ever used it on sunburn before though.

*Thinks* Now how do I hide myself from my boyfriend for a day so the redness can go down! he he

Thanks for this link; I might just travel from Wicklow to Dun Laoghaire it looks that good! I love it when places put all their prices and other info online (are you listening salons of Wicklow?!).

Look up http://www.lycon.ie/ they have the salons listed all over Ireland that uses Lycon wax, which IMHO is the best and easily the best pain free option for waxing.
