How to add extra postage costs on an ebay item, I want to pay the seller more

Just bought an item and need it fast so was told to pay extra. In the past I was able to put on extra or discounts at checkout. I no longer seem to be able to do this. Is there another way, without having to contact the seller to get their paypal email? Just want to act quick as possible. EDIT: figured it out. you log onto…

EDIT: figured it out. you log onto paypal not ebay. then click "pay for ebay items", and you can adjust costs and add a message in their for the seller.
