    I think they are these:

A lot of the girls in my school have been wearing them and I see they come in various colours (white, orange, grey etc),

I was wondering, do they have a version for males too, which place is better to get them (Penneys or Dunnes?) and how much would they be? Cheers.

If you can get your size in the women's I see no reason why you shouldn't just get them. I cant imagine a men's version being any different looking.

They are rubbish quality and are like wearing wafers yet we all wear them! I'm pretty sure you would get them in either Dunnes or Penneys and the quality I imagine would be the same..otherwise you def get them in topshop/river island...

I think they do some version of the grey ones in penneys!

They do Navy, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Black and White one's in Pennys for €6 for lads, recently couple of different colour pairs as they're handy for going out in as you get into nightclubs no bother with them as they ain't "runners".;)

I got a pair of the grey ones [im a guy] and they're pretty much the same as the ones in the photo

They come in all sizes, and are 3 euro! :D

The €3 ones in Penneys are sh*te, but the €4 ones are quite good. I get a month's solid wear out of them and I walk a good bit.

(I'm a girl btw, but I assume the guy's ones are similar)

...or you could go to Urban Outfitters and spend something silly like 12 quid on the EXACT same shoes.

Love 'em myself, but they'll never stay white. Got a few pairs in Penneys and chucking them out in time is always tragic.

Dunnes have them in grey, black and white for guys and they are 6 euro.

Do they not destroy your feet? I can't imagine spending €3 for a pair of shoes! My feet are very sensitive.

That's exactly what I'd worry about them! At least with things like converse all stars there's a decent sole in them! Those things may as well be socks with rubber on the bottom  very bad for posture and your back, never mind just your feet

Yup. I can't even imagine they'd do any good. I work in a shoe store so maybe that's why I kinda look down on the cheap shoes, I mean fair enough they might be comfy to some but I really beg to differ.

I find them really comfortable, much more comfortable than Converse. I've spent 50+ euro on name brand shoes which have cut or rubbed my feet to pieces but strangely, the Penneys ballet flats, pumps and runners are grand! I find it a bit annoying to have to keep replacing them though, it's very wasteful.

+1 to that, €80 Nike's that lasted me 2 months vs €25 Kappa's that are still going strong well over a year later.

Sums up Urban Outfitters to a tee. Never bought anything there, and never will!!!!

But they're handy for lads as it's something different to wear going out.;) Only reason I bought a few pairs cause I can't stand wearing shoes out.

Converse are so flat that wearing them for periods can feck up my feet just as much as the cheap penneys flats.
I love some of the penneys styles (with a similar sole) but unfortunately they only last a few weeks (or a week with a recent pair) before holes or cracks come through. Which in the long run makes them so much more expensive than converse.

So it's not very environmentally friendly but surely nobody expects a pair of shoes that cost €4 to last very long:confused:At that price you could get a new pair every week.

I don't particularly like them either. They are ok. Useful when you don't want to destroy expensive shoes with constant wear or for changing into when the high heels hurt.

They are real "recession shoes". Everybody is wearing them. I wonder if regular shoe shops sell shoes anymore because of them.

Can get em in Topman/River Island for about 16 quid. I have two pairs but dont really like them, mostly just wear them lounging around the house or going to the shop.
