I'm setting of hitchhiking and couchsurfing around Europe after I work for a couple of months to repay my loanz! I was wondering what the cheapest and also the most convenient airport in Europe is to just catch a roll-up-n'-smile flight back to Ireland. I know that bigger airports are better for stand-by flights. I'll be gone for three weeks, can't wait.

There is pretty much no "stand-by" anymore for non-airline staff - you pay for you flight, and the later you leave it, the more you pay. Rolling up at any airport will pretty much guarantee you having to pay the last-minute, most expensive fare going.
