Reasonably Priced Upskilling?

DP recently made redundant. Looking for another job in IT, but while he has time on his hands he would like to upskill a bit. Anyone know of any reasonably priced courses in say:

    Java
    Project Management

Most that I find on the internet seem to be mad money - which is no joke when you look at the Social Welfare payment we get.

Any advice appreciated - BTW we're based in North County Dublin so probably need to look at either Courses based in Dublin or Distance Learning.

    For Java checkout

Sounds good and kind on the pocket!

Sorry just realised you are looking for a course north side. Could be worth travelling though.

Thanks Oxide. Actually found this after my post yesterday and have DP already booked on. Are there similar courses in other technologies / Project Management like this one in either UCD or other colleges in Dublin?

Anyone come across any others - or at least ones where they reduce the price if you are on welfare?
