A friend of mine is doing an MSc looking at nutrition and triathlon. As part of it she has a survey basically asking you what you eat. It's quite long (takes about 20 minutes to complete) but if anyone had the time, she would appreciate your input.

Ive just been leant a book called the thrive diet, written by a professional ironman, well thats what he calls himself. Excellent nutritional tips including recipes for making your own energy bars, protein drinks etc. and all totally natural. worth taking a look Id say

    Thanks guys! I appreciate it.

There are a couple of good books out there dealing with sports nutrition for endurance athletes. Have a look on amazon and find one to suit your level. Anita Bean and Monique Ryan are good authors for beginners. A lot of information is available on pubmed but it can take a while to wade through the science. If anyone would like personal nutritional advice, feel free to pm me and we can arrange a phone call to start things off.
