Google & BMW

    When I open Google, a little BMW logo has started to appear in the left of the tab. I'm wondering is this a new form of advertising, or is it just a left-over from my having been on e90post.com yesterday? Anyone else have it?

    It happens sometimes if you have both pages (BMW & GOOGLE) saved in your favorites/bookmarks. I am not sure what the exact problem is but if you clear your intrnet history it should redownload/reset the icons.

    EDIT: (Also clear temp internet files)

    They've been testing that for a while now but doesn't sound exactly what you're talking about.

    No,this is on the tab at the top - where the 'eyes' are just to the left of where 'Motors - boards.ie' is on this page.

    What browser are you using?

    Since I've started using Firefox I've found that it handles the icons better. Have you tried deleting the bookmark then rebookmarking Google?

    I got the same couple of days ago eg. the boards logo on the tab was the apple logo instead - using google Chrome at the time its gone now
