Does anyone know of a service that will take a burly item from your house (say white goods like a fridge, or furniture or something) that you don't want any more and dump it? If anyone can recommend any such service it would be much appreciated!

Be careful who you get - if they are to dump it then I think they must be licensed as a waste disposal company.
