New TV No Signal

    Hello,

I just recently bought myself a new TV, an LG LCD television. I have a UPC digital + box which worked perfectly fine on my old TV but when I turn this on the new one it is just a black screen that says No Signal.

I don't think this is anything to do with the box itself but more the TV. All the connections are where they should be. Can anyone help? Is there anyway I can tune my Digital into the new TV?

Your TV remote probably has a source button on it which allows your TV to take inout from various sources. Hit this a few times while your Digital Box is on and you should find the correct option.

That's the thing. I'm not even sure what the source button is. Ive tried auto & manual tuning & nothing

The button is labelled "input" on most LG sets, check on the back which connection it is plugged into, and keep pressing the input button until you reach that input.

How is the box connected to the TV?

There is no need to do any tuning you just have to figure out how to select the correct source

Maybe the OP had analogue UPC channels as well as the UPC setbox. Maybe the new TV does not do VHF /hyperband Analogue, or only does if you select correct country, or only has UK digital tuner and only SCART will work.

You do have a SCART lead?
