I have somebody in Munster prepared to sell their tickets to me but they have said they only have a confirmation email from the ERC and with these mail you collect the tickets from Murrayfield.
Anybody know if this is the case? Don't want to buy them and get to Murrayfield and be told that this is not the case.

Its tricky .... I had a problem with the scottish game earlier this year, I'd booked the tickets but unfortunately couldn't travel. I had to contact the SRFU and let them know, I had to send an email to confirm and provide them with my credit card number.

Best get in touch with the ticket office .... to find out exactly what you need to provide as proof. My friend went over with a photocopy of my passport and credit card but I reckon a stranger isn't going to give these to you ;)

This happened to me with Scotland Ireland game this year as i could not go

I spoke to SRU ticket office at Murrayfield and gave copy of my confimation to the other person going to the match, they then had to pay for the tickets on collection and my credit card was then refunded by SRU

I'm in the same boat, I got an email the other day from ticketmaster stating that if someone else is collection the tickets they have to have either my passport or drivers licence (originals only!) or my credit card number. A friend of mine is over on a hen this weekend so I gave her that email, the original order confirmation email and my drivers licence to pick them up. Will let u know how it goes
