RTE in NI/Belfast 2009

    hi, Think this might be the most suitable previous topic to ask this as a newbie.

    I'm really just wanting to know if there is any point buying a signal booster to pick up/improve terrestrial signals specifically for RTE2. Living in South Belfast and have aerials on roof on a pole allowing me fairly good analogue signal on RTE1 and the TG4 channel but RTE2 is a very poor weak signal on CH52 e.g. scrolling and has lots of snow, basically unwatchable.

    I have virgin and have the channel clearly but wish to watch events that are only broadcasted on analogue.

    If any one can help give me an insight i'd be grateful.

    RTÉ TWO is on CH56, RTÉ ONE is on CH52.

    You aren't using an RF output from say the Virgin box or a VCR or something which might be interfering with the signal?

    What's your TV 3 like?

    hi guys, Thanks for the bump and quick response. your right Paddy C it was around 56 i managed to solve the problem... bought a 8.99 signal booster thing from argos and fine tuned it.. made its fairly watchable. Was just to watch the match so did the job.
