    Hey There,

I have just had an alarm installed and it included a "dialler" that is meant to send a text to my mobile. I know there are issues with this but some people have had success.
Currently the dialler is phoning my mobile when it goes off and I can hear the alarm tone ringing, but I am keen to find out if anyone has managed to get the text facility working over VOIP, It's meant to tell you the actual area that has alarmed, which is ideally what I want......
I know you can go down the monitoring route but who wants to pay €180 for nothing.....I also know about the GSM but mobile signal is poor....

    Any Ideas?????
