Trying to book a holiday in malta from the 6th of september but unsure of what area to stay?

Young couple not really interested in night life more beaches and relaxing and activities scuba diving, horse riding etc.

I know the island is quite small and buses are good in that they go everywhere and are cheap.

Also how to get there preferably from cork but dublin is fine ryan air dont seem to go that often and my dates are not flexible really.

Any other general advise would be appreciated.

Gozo off Malta is prob your best bet for diving etc, pace of life much slower than on Malta itself.

Thanks yeah ive heard that would still like to stay on malta though as the diving is only a small part and it will keep travel costs down.

Im having a big issue with flights cant seem to find anything for under 500 leaving 6th sep and coming back around the 20th

Is it €500 each or both?

    Picture is unclear

Top half is Dublin to London GAT return with Ryanair

Bottom is Lonon GAT to Malta with BMI return

    06/09/09 to 20/09/09

Just over 500 for both return is the cheapest i can find.

Just not used to booking flights and taught it would be cheaper.

Also by going this route and booking both seperately will i have probs with baggage i think hand luggage will be fine for each of us and share one suitcase.

Is hand luggage generally the same size.

Do you think theres enough time between flights to get bags and check in etc..

Air malta offer a package flight still under 600 but going through heathrow the connection flights in different terminals.

Sorry for all the questions just dont want a holiday ruined by stupid flights
