Need Advice on Routine

Been going to the gym for 2 months now. I lost 3 pounds in the first month and then gained exactly 3 pounds in the second. :( So back to square one.

    I'm F 5'6 10 Stone 9 pounds.

BF - Oats with skimmed milk and mixed nuts and seeds. [Usually peanuts and sunflower seeds.] Might have a banana with that.

    11am - 2 turkey slices and apple/orange

L- Can of tuna and Glenisk pro - biotic yoghurt

Dinner - Always varies.... could be home made chicken curry with brown rice or stir fry or meat and veg.

Would have about 3 bottles of wine during the weekend put I never eat when I'm after drinking.

I go to the gym on average 3 times a week which is an hour walk away and usually do 15 minutes weights then 30 minutes cardio.

3 bottles of wine aren't helping.

You don't always have to have rice/spuds/pasta/bread with a meal. Leave these carbs out every 2nd day and see if that helps. If you are hungry just have more fresh chopped veg.

If you are already walking 1hr to the gym then why bother do cardio when you get there? How about jogging to the gym and then doing weights: lunges, squat, deadlift, rows, pressing stuff.

Hey man, firstly I love my wine. Anyway moving on. Did you ever think that the pounds you put back on could be muscle?????????? I never go by the scales, the mirror is my scales. Seriously your body weight goes up and down like a whores nickers. I am 17.5 stone and fairly lean at the mo and I wont stand on a scales, I go by clothes and the mirror and of course when the wife gives out saying that I am going to have a heart attack:D

My diet at the mo is
8.30am - (Pre training) Cooked oats (70-80grams carbs) 4 egg whites (scrambled) Muti Vit and fish oil

10.30am - Train (Serving of size on while training)

12.30 - (Post training) 200grams of Turkey/chicken, green beans/brocolli, brown rice and a hand full of cashew nuts

2.30 - 150-200 grams of turkey and green beans and a hand full of cashew nuts

4.30 - protein shake with some glucotamine

6.30 - 150-200 grams of turkey, green beans and brown rice. Cashew nuts

8.30 - either fish with veg or good steak

10.30 - protein shake with glucotamine

11.30 - serving of size and 2 Novadex XT

12.00 - bed with a pint glass of water, drink before going to sleep so that I wake up approx 2-3 hours later then I get up go to the bathroom and before I get back to bed I have another protein shake.

During the day I would take in about 4 litres of water. I try to keep my carbs to a min, I go day to day and depending on how I look and feel I will either drop the carbs that day or take in more

    Thats me
