Where in Ireland can you get the best yield on a property given current selling prices and current achievable rents. A friend has 100k cash to invest and is planning to invest in a property over next few years once yield is good. He's considering a property in a tourist area that he could use for holidays or rent out. Where would you buy a property for say 150k and what yield do you think you could get?
BTW by yield i mean rent divided by purchase price of property.
