    Thanks for that.

Looking at Ras website seems like alot of quality foreign teams coming over.

May be that An Post and National team may be the only Irish squads to challenge.

Will county teams even get a look in?

Looking at the international roster you'd have to say that the county teams will be bringing up the rear in terms of the GC (few notable exceptions like Kenneally of Engraveit.ie / Meath) - no shame in that though, not many other sports where an amateur could take a week off work to take part in a race against professionals. I think its a huge achievement for an amateur domestic rider to finish the RAS regardless of where they come. Takes balls to even attempt it.

Looks like it could be one of the toughest RAS weeks ever.. I am looking forward to it anyway, I will be in the team car for the Waterford / Comeragh CC team.

Here here ! Any County rider who wears a white cycling hat with FBD milk RAS logo on it ( similar to world champs colours poll ! don't wear it if you have n't done it ! ) is a Man of the Ras. Hats off to anyone who has ridden and finished it !!

    Biker Joe.

    +1

Even attempting to do it takes alot out of a amateur's schedule, absolute fair play to anyone.
