Ryanair Baggage Fees

I hope this is the right forum...

When booking online for a Ryanair flight, the additional bags are charges at €30 for 15 kgs per bag. Does anyone know if I can book two bags for €60, but check in a single bag weighting 30 kgs? The net weight is the same.

It might seem obvious, but my experience of low cost carriers is that they will charge (heavily) for anything outside the norm.

Max check-in baggage per person is 15kg. You can have 10 bags if you want but only 15kg max.

Anyone know a good way of weighing these before you go cause i always seem to go over the top and have to spend loads on massive amount of fees:mad:

Get one of these, Lidl or Aldi sometimes do them. I have seen them in the odd airport aswell, handy to bring with you to use for the return leg.

And when you get to the airport bring your bags over to an out of use check in desk. The scales will appear off but they are only in idle mode. Touch the scales and the screen will light up. Hop your bags up and you will know for sure the exact weight.

We always do this and you can see all the people doing this around us after seeing that we were not carted off by security.

We also have that little scales to weigh prior to travel and bring it with us because of all the crap we usually buy abroad.
