Anyone know how I can deter my dog from jumping into planters?

Had the same prob myself, tried to erect a fence with wooden posts and chicken wire around the flower beds. But being an 8 stone rottie, he just pulled it down!

In the end we had to put up an iron railing dividing the patio from the garden, so he is only on the patio when we are not there. Works fine.

Suppose it depends on type/size of dog you have.

Thanks for the advice. The planters are about 3 feet off the ground and my mixed breed rescue dog isn't that big so I think the chicken wire could work. Cheers
