Hi, thinking of booking an all inclusive holiday for two weeks in either August or September of this year. Somewhere sunny with some nice beaches and sightseeing. Also something that wont cost a fortune! Has anyone any recommendations of places or good online sites for booking?

If you have nothing useful to add, then please don't bother posting. AH is for that nonsense.

OP, AI holidays can vary wildly in terms of price and quality and most are geared towards families, particularly in the usual Med/Canaries resorts. Your request isn't helped by the fact you're looking at peak season, so even the "cheap" packages aren't cheap.

Are you travelling as a couple or a family?

mike dragon. i dont know what ur talking about.

you can book an AI holiday in mexico for half price. book it for later in the year when this virus will be long gone and mexico will be open for business again

Going as a couple. Have looked at a couple of deals with english travel agents and they seem to be quite reasonable

Went all inclusive for the last two years in both Eqypt (Sharm El Sheik) and the Maldives. Both priced very reasonably too... :D

Was interested in Mexico myself until all this swine flu stuff...

I went via www.markstravel.co.uk last year - they throw up some very nice all inclusive packages every once and a while. You can ring them too - they are very friendly and full of useful tips and information.

Used the above - Markstravel: They are basically a Kuoni agent. Well as we were all inclusive we didnt need to pay for any foods or drinks on the Island. :D Certain cocktails, drinks and beers were extra however and billed to the room but we easily could have stuck to the all inclusive menus without spending a penny more.

The Island had a basic shop and one other selling clothes. Also there was a spa at extra cost we we used once. So not much else to spend money on.

Loved it anyways - especially for the snorkling (brought own gear and underwater camera housing - best purchase ever!!!) and would love to go again.

Brilliant - no problems what so ever with them. A1 +++++

You will have to book flights to get to Gatwick etc however but at €25 or so a flight - no hassle. We did miss our flight home however but that was due to sick passengers which delayed the flight by 3hours...

With that site - prices do vary and they do special offers on certain destinations so waiting and keeping an eye on their offers could work out well but then again it might not.

Last year we were lucky and got a great deal with them as their all inclusive price dropped when they had a special deal on :D
