    howdee,

Is there any other type of case you would recommend could be used for a jazzmaster other than a dedicated jazzmaster case.
It has been mentioned that a bass guitar case might fit one..

EDIT: I also have some other questions, but don't want to start another thread. The one I have has a white pearloid pickguard. I was thinking of getting a black pickguard or a tort pickguard, but I've seen prices vary from $20 to $50...Is there much of a muchness between them. Also, where's the best place to get the mustang bridge

Why would you buy anything other than a jazzmaster case? The idea of a hardcase is that it's fitted to a guitar's shap and holds it so that it won't move around and damage anything.

The Fender equivalent would be about three times the price. This may suit the OPs budget a bit better.

yeah, that case would do nicely. I don't see the point in paying $$$$ for a case just because it has "fender" written on it. I'm not in the need for a roadcase just yet...

now alls I need is the mustang bridge, some tight jeans, DMs, and I'm in shoegaze heaven.......
