Hi. I'm not sure if this is in the right forum and I know this isnt a big problem compared to others on here. Basically I changed jobs and moved apartment at the beginiing of April. Since then I'm having a lot of trouble getting settled sleep. I never seem to sleep for more than two hours. After waking up it then takes me about an hour to get to sleep. This leaves me feeling tired which means it's hard to concentrate in my new job. I'm not sure what sort of replies I'm looking for. Just maybe if anyone else ever had a similar problem.

Well this should be the Nocturnal Forum's area of expertise but woefully thats just not the case :pac:

Do you have any other particular insights yourself why you might not be sleeping so well? Uncomfortable? Something bothering you?

If you can't understand why you might be losing sleep, go to a GP and see what they advise.

I have the same problem when I move into a new house/apartment, I always find it hard to sleep for the first while, I think it's actually some instinctual survival mechanism to sleep light in unfamiliar surroundings, though this hasn't lasted as long as it has for you.

There are numerous websites you can look at for advice on this, try a google search. Most of them will tell you to eat right, exercise more, and only go to bed when you feel tired. If this doesn't help you, then maybe you should consult your GP.
