    Hi all,
I was hoping you could help me out. I got a set of the individual lashes done for an event and now I want to take them off but the glue is ridiculously strong. Does anyone know a good way to get them off?

    thanks for reading! x

Olive oil on a cotton pad, hold it against the lash line and have patience, not sure about individual eyelashes, but I know with full lashes you'll feel them give after a while.

Individual lashes are an absolute pain to get off. It's sort of hard to pull at them, for fear of pulling your real lashes as well. When you buy individual lashes in Boots or whereever, they tend to come with a removal solution thing, but they say eye make-up remover does the same job really. Starting from the outside in, dab it into your lash line (I use a cotton bud to do it), and sort of let it sink in for a few minutes to soften the glue. Then just sort of pull gently, perhaps with a tweezers depending on how close they are in length to your real lashes.
I have heard olive oil works too :)

Thanks so much for the replies. I applied layers of make up remover and left it...defo helped but i still had to pull them out. I ripped out loads of my own lashes doing it though. I never thought that they would be so much hassle. Never again!! I usually just use a strip of lashes, (the H&M ones) and they come off fine. So raging at how much I spent on the individaul ones.

Anybody know any ways to give my lashes a bit of a pamper to help them mend the damage?
