Access Point Not Detected

    Hmmm. My PS3 decided to stop going online for some reason only known to itself, and possibly my router today. It had been working perfectly, and then, out odf the blue, stopped.

    When I turn the Ps3 on the green light doesn't flash. and then when i go into settings and scan for my router, it says "access point not detected".

    i've tried resetting my modem, but that doesn't seem to have done anything. also restored all the defaults, and set up the modem again using the installation cd, and nothing.

    anybody have any idea what's caused this and how to fix it? I'm getting close to tearing my hair out.

    my router is a belkin enhanced wireless router for a cable modem

    Can you connect to the wireless router with your laptop, phone, other wireless device?

    can you try conecting your PS3 to the Router by ethernet cable
    To rule our whether it is a wireless issue with the router first.

    thanks for the replies guys. it was a problem on the pc end that got sorted with some good ol fashioned msconfig.
