Starting a band - it could include YOU!!!!

    Hey, I'm a guitar player living in south Dublin who wants to start their own band - a band that would be playing some some sort of rock, jazz and pop fusion, with original material and covers. My main intention is to have a music thing going on over the summer holidays, but will happily keep it going as long as it should to do itself justice. I'm hoping to get a drummer, bass player and possibly another guitar player involved - and maybe a singer (male or female) too. I'm 17 and have been playing about 5 years now. Main influences involve Guthrie Govan, Rage Against The Machine, Shawn Lane and countless others. Also, it would be great if anyone interested had a knowledge of theory, but its not by any means a necessity. Hope to hear from you.

    My friend and myself are looking to start a band too. She plays drums and i sing, we've been trying to get something going for months but are having trouble finding the right people. We both have very varied musical interests and are open to trying just about anything. We both also do music in college.
