02 mobile broadband won't work on laptop help anyone?

I recently changed over to 02 mobile broadband after having perlico broadband, so that I could use it on my laptop.
The O2 will work on my pc but will not work on my laptop, it will load and connect but when I click on the browser it is saying it is not connected to the server!!
I am using Toshiba Satellite 1110 laptop, the Perlico broadband worked no problem and I have used Eircom broadband in a friends house on it, but alas the 02 wont work
O2 technicians were of no help at all....
Can anyone help please, my heads a bit melted as the whole reason for getting the mobile broadband was so I can bring it with me and the laptop

Normally I would ask what modem or OS are you using?

But from your post it look's more like a conflict with one of the other methods that you have used to connect.

Try removing all networking configurations on laptop and reinstalling.
