    Hey everybody,

Just a heads up, I'm looking to book a Eurolines trip to London but the Bus Eireann website is absolutely woeful and doesn't appear to have been updated in years. I wasn't able to get through to the booking page at all.
Instead the UK Eurolines website is a lot easier to use and marginally cheaper at £47 return from Dublin to London.
Nonetheless, I think its a joke that the Bus Eireann site isn't maintained as it certainly is a viable alternative to flying for people with large amounts of luggage. And as well as this the UK Eurolines website offers excellent discounts, such as £15 single to Dublin or Cork.
I'm sure a lot more people would use the service if Bus Eireann utilised it more. I suppose that's asking too much though....

Another classic illustration of what is wrong with this country. We are hopeless, truly hopeless. Can't even get a proper website organised ( Boards.ie excepted !)

I really cannot understand posts like this.

There is a Eurolines Services section in the Bus Eireann website that can be accessed easily by using the search engine in that website, or under the "Principal Services" tab.

There you can find a link to the most up to date information leaflet and also a link to book services.

Yes and then go and try to book it via the Bus Eireann System. I'm sorry but my departure date isn't 2003.
No matter how many times I've tried to book it via Bus Eireann I won't process, National Express is far superior and up to date.

Booking works fine for me, no problems changing dates or anything. It also took me less than a minute to find the correct page, despite not having used the system before (I like trains and airplanes).

Whoops, must be my computer so!
Ah well, Eurolines UK still works out marginally cheaper!

    Hey folks,

I'm hoping to book a trip to London on Saturday and go via eurolines. I take it I can book online and print off my tickets yeah? And I'd just like to confirm that people have to check in for the ferry at Busaras in Dublin, and then the bus takes you straight onto the ferry yeah? How is the service, and does the service arrive approx on time?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm just a bit concerned as I've never done this before. And I'll be pretty much on a tight schedule time-wise if its to arrive there at 9.45! I wouldnt be doing this only for my passport still hasnt been renewed!

Thanks in advance for help/guidance guys. ;-)
