Door Seals

How often should you look at changing the door seals on a car? I have a 01 A6 and have noticed that I can hear more and more going on outside the car especially when driving at motorway speeds. The car was very quiet when I bought it so thinking of having them done. Are they expensive to buy as I figure I could do the job…

How often should you look at changing the door seals on a car?

I have a 01 A6 and have noticed that I can hear more and more going on outside the car especially when driving at motorway speeds. The car was very quiet when I bought it so thinking of having them done.

Are they expensive to buy as I figure I could do the job myself.

There's products available at your local motor factors to restore the seals, obviously if they are cracked it won't help.
