Folks I am booked to travel to New York, Orlando and then onto cancun for a week in June, now before I call continental, I would like to see if anyone knows where I might stand in terms of, Can I ask continental if we can be re-routed?

Are airlines rufunding due to the swine flu? ( My personal view is the media is blowing it out of proportion but thats my own view.)

In your opinion would you cancel or continue?

    Thanks all

Did you book the flights all on one ticket with Continental? For the moment I would take a wait and see approach. Continental are currently allowing free reschedule / re-routes for travel up until May 31st. I assume this will be reviewed and extended if necessary.

    The following is from Continental
Continental is providing the option to re-schedule or re-route your travel once, without penalty, if you are ticketed to/from one of the cities listed below.* If your flight has been cancelled, a refund to the original form of payment can be requested. If you are traveling using a OnePass Reward, redeposit fees will be waived. Travel must be completed by the original validity dates specified on the ticket and changes must be confirmed in the same class of service as the original ticket. The value of the ticket may also be used towards purchasing another Continental Airlines ticket.
