Banks are asking for it.

Own a shop and a few minutes ago had a very dodgy guy asking me to check if "his" credit card works. It did, but as a precaution, I noted his reg and rang the bank. The last twice this happened, I was spot on.

AIB card services is my clearing bank, but they said no, not us - talk to payzone, rang payzone - they are closed, so in desperation I rang AIB credit card services who look after my personal card and guess what ?

    NOT US !

So, we have a traveller running around with an active credit card and the bank doesnt want to know.

    Moral of this story?

Don't bother as the banks dont care !

    Rant over.

Your best bet is probably to ring the bank that issued that credit card. Or else ring the Gardai.
