Need to rent a car in UK @ 22?

    Anyone know of any car rental companies in the UK that rent to people who are 22?
    Iv been selected to go on top gear this july (thought id drop that in) and need a car to rent because getting the ferry is too expensive!

    there are car rentals that rent cars out to people in the uk at 17. i got a car off budget rentals(think they cover 22+) but the all important question is do you have a full licence over a year?
    also if you need to get rid of the tickets give them to me :)

    With Avis, the young driver surcharge is only £11 extra per day.

    Book through Avis Ireland to pay in Euro. For a better deal call Avis on +353 21 428 1111 / 1890 40 50 60 and ask them to apply extra discounts.

    Currently they are from €20 per day in the UK.(For the entry level car)

    Not sure where top gear is filmed but would you consider getting the ferry and train? Often works out really cheap.

    Its filmed in Cranleigh in Surrey. A car is really the only way you will get there, as its in the middle of nowhere! Its about 20km from Guilford or just over 10km from Godalming which you could get the train to. I would suggest car though. Been there working once when they were filming.
