Air abrasion rocks!

Don't know if dentists here do it, but recently had two of the 'no drill no needle' fillings when back in Oz. They basically have to be new fillings, not replacement ones and not deep. I had the start of some decay on two teeth and the dentist was able to use it. It's basically a superfine grit and very high powered cold air and water. (it's cold which makes the nerves contract, hence no feeling) You feel like you have a mouth full of very fine dry grit after the abrasion work, but it's wonderful - no injection, drugs in the system and that horrible feeling of it wearing off. It takes a lot less time too. If you have the chance, I highly recommend it. It's about the same price or a bit less than a usual filling.
