Looked at going in June(620) and July is 750. when is peak season and low season there?

June and July are in the monsoon, December and January are the busiest months there.
What agency is quoting you €750 return? I'm sure you should be able to find it for cheaper than that.

I stayed in Phuket, at the Manathai Hotel (just outside Patong in Surin Bay). Right across from the beach, really nice hotel. Patong is the nearest town and is bright and alive and fun (but it's nice to come back out and stay in a quieter place) and is only a tuk-tuk ride away (trip should cost about 300 baht for the trip, not per person).

If you could stretch to 3 weeks, do it, you won't regret it. I loved it so much I will definitely be going back and for longer this time (stayed 3 weeks).

Not sure about the weather in the Summer (though it is monsoon season - however, there's something mad about warm rain that is so much fun) ... we went in October and it was just glorious.

    So jealous of you!!!

I was there in July and we had a downpours but they don't last long.

Not like here where it can rain all day.
