Depressed about being stuck at home

Been with my boyfriend nearly a year now and we would normally spend all of our spare time together, but this weekend i can't go out as im in the middle of my finals and i cant help but feel really depressed.

He never really goes out without me and hes going out tonight, which is fine i have no insecurities about him being unfaithful and its great that he can still go out and see his mates without me being around all of the time, but i just feel really down at the thought of missing a Saturday night out.

This problem probably seems tiny compared to others on this forum, but is it normal to feel this way? I actually feel like crying. It could be just the stress of exams etc.

It's probably stress - that is very much an OTT reaction to... pretty much nothing. Or perhaps it's indicative of loneliness at a deeper level - do you have a circle of friends?

    Very petty, I think.

It's only a night out. I'm sure it wouldn't have been any different to any other nights out you've had. You will have plenty more.

Your finals are important and should be your priority right now instead of sulking over missing one night with the girls and/or your boyfriend.

might be stress...but seriously, get over it, this is not a problem.....God help you if something that IS a real problem happens to you.
