microsoft word capitalizing words in the MIDDLE OF SENTENCES

    omfg it is so annoying. the spelling and grammar check is malfunctioning.

    i cant give examples because the document is private.

    but in the middle of sentences, the spelling grammar check says to capitalize the first letter of words, words like "my". why would my be capitalized?

    "Hello, i am TLG and My hair is blonde."

    also sometimes it comes up with bizarre stuff in the box of text that is to be corrected, that doesn't even exist on the page!!! like it will add an "A" that wasn't there and an extra letter to the word next to it!!!!

    "Hello, i am TLG and my A hhair is blonde."

    WTF????

    how do i fix this??? i've searched google for a long time so don't say that i couldn't find anyone with this problem, maybe because it is hard to come up with the words for this strange problem.

    Sounds to me like autocorrect is getting this wrong, in Office 07 You go into "Proofing options" and "Auto Correct" options (See picture bellow), I think in older versions of office autocorrect options are located in the "Tools" menu:

    i couldn't find anything wrong in the autocorrect options, on any of the tabs.

    maybe this will help to clarify the problems, it is screenshot examples of the weird problem with correcting.

    ^^ that shows what it looks like when "markup" is selected in view.

    ^^ that shows the bizarre behaviour of spelling and grammar check. as you can see, the spelling and grammar check shows a spelling ("ununfuillfilleed") which is not in the document!!!

    ok i think i might have figured it out, i clicked "accept all chagnes in document" and it went away i think.
