Probably. I could understand if it was a Monday to Friday where people would park there for whole day, but first thing on a Saturday morning when there's not a sinner around is just madness.

Why diidn't you just go down at 8am, pay & display a parking note, have a ramble about the town - perhaps grab something to eat to help sober up and then return to your car at 9 and drive home?

Congrats on not drinking while over the limit but its got nothing do do with your parking ticket. When I drive into town and have a few beers I make sure I park in a place with zero time limits because god only knows when I get over my hangover

1. Park car.

2. Pay for parking until x am.

3. Collect car.

This is the worlds greatest injustice. I think that we should form some kind of support group for people who (for no fault of their own) got drunk the night before and consequently had their car ticketed for not displaying a valid ticket. We could call it Motorists Against People Getting Tickets When They Didn't Think They'd Get Ticketed For Parking Illegally Because Sure No One Is Up At That Time. MAPGTWTDTTGTFPIBSNOIUATT for short. It'll be massive.

Well, at least the bumper stickers will.
