Just wondering if anyone else gets this??
When ever someone shakes or holds my hand or if my feet rub off my OH, they always comment on how cold they are! To me they dont feel cold but too others they feel freezing! And if they are too get warm it takes along time...say in the morning after a nights sleep! Even if its a nice sunny warm day i always seem to have cold hands and feet. Its not something im too worried about but iv noticed it alot more recently how people comment on it. Whenever i shake someones hand or have my OH feet rub off me they never feel cold so im thinking maybe i could have a small problem?? Could this be sign of bad circulation maybe?? does anyone else have this??
    thanks.

You may have Raynaud's disease http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raynaud%27s_disease

I have it and anytime someone touches my hands they get a shock because they are so cold. Even in Summer, they're freezing. I have noticed a slight improvement in the last year, though, possibly because I gained some weight (body fat = insulation). I used to have to wear gloves all year round.

Fortunately it's not a serious condition, just an annoyance. Unfortunately, there is no real way of treating it. You just have to wear gloves and extra pairs of socks. Someone told me it goes away after a few years. That makes sense to me as I can't remember having it when I was a child.

I have exactly what you have (keeping in mind not a medical forum!), my hands and feet will often feel fine yet like the touch of death to OH and others. Even now in warm house, hands feel cold if I concentrate. I've never gotten a diagnosis, but indeed as other poster said, someone said to be that I had the same as them (they suffered from Reynaud's disease)

I'm the same, sometimes my hands are like ice and I can't go asleep cause my feet are so cold even though the rest of me is fine- I wear two pairs of socks and have proper bed socks as they're warmer. Yeah I agree with previous post, sounds like Rauynards, but get it checked by a doctor.

I would get it checked out with your doctor, just to be sure.
It could be down to a few things, reynauds being one of them (But we can't really give medical advice and only a doctor would be able to assertain that).
Tips would be to wear extra socks or gloves when out. Keeping digits together actually helps keep them warmer so mittens are good too.

It's not Reynauds, you just have bad circulation. Do some cardio exercise.

If you smoke stop, you'll notice an immediate improvement in circulation. Also, drinking a lot can negatively affect circulation.

I think calling it a disease is jumping the gun, you may simply just have bad circulation. More cardio as suggested is what you should try.

thanks guys...i dont smoke and dont drink excessively so its not due to that and as for cardio, i do swim like twice a week. I really dont think its reynauds disease because my hands and feet dont change colour or anything and its not sore.
i do think it could be bad circulation though....maybe i'll try do more swimming or something..... or maybe im just a freak!!!! :P

I wouldn't worry about this, just mention it to the doctor maybe next time you're there. I have eternally cold feet (in the literal sense) and my dad and sis always have both cold hands and feet. My sister has had them from since she was small, so I'm sure it could just be a natural thing some people have. She's embraced her weird hands, you should too!

Warmups tbh. Get the heart rate up with a jog or a bit of sex in the morning and see if it doesnt help :)

If its a cause for concern though, of course ask a GP.
